I feel very enthusiastic about the focus and direction of this Unity Center. Now is an exciting time for the Unity community. Our community is composed of many diverse, highly intelligent, and independent path takers, remembering who they are! David, our “spiritual leader” is still working on becoming a LUT, (he does go to Unity Village at least three times a year for classes) and has applied for the ministerial field licensing program. In spite what might be considered as limited experience, he is very dynamic, well spoken, and very inspirational. He shared with us that he was at one time a part time professional actor – hmm... perhaps a sort of “Ronald Reagan” of spiritual leaders – (however, he is not a proponent of trickle down metaphysics). I am thrilled to see him becoming more and more enlightened and more and more ”out there” (in a very good spiritual way). He was the key to keeping things going here, as president of the board, after our last minister left. Had that minister not been here at the time, David might not have even shown up (it was simply out of curiosity) to find out what it was all about. So there are no accidents.

Dear Loved Ones,

It is our pleasure and our privilege to participate in the Universal flow. Between the many years of addiction and self loathing, the fact that either one of us has a beating heart and a breath in our body is nothing short of a miracle or a supernatural event. We are grateful for this opportunity to experience the servitude without limitation, and the tithing portion is merely a reminder of how charmed our life really is. This is the kind of thing that warms our hearts, nourishes or souls and reminds us that which is ours to do, will be presented to us on a silver platter.

We love you, Church Family in Pittsburgh. Though there may be many material miles between us, you often infiltrate our hearts and our minds with your Presence and feel your warmth. You have left your handprints on our hearts.

Dear ONES congregated at Pittsburgh, otherwise known as Unity Center in Pittsburgh, PA.,

     It was with a profound sense of gratitude that I drove away from Pittsburgh last Monday morning. I am so very grateful for your openness to hear the Word of God, the manifest Presence of the Spirit of God and the obvious way that all of you have been so marvelously blessed to enjoy such a high level of conscious awareness. I am also thankful for the kind care of my personal needs before, during our meeting and afterwards as well.

      Over the years I have been blessed to serve many churches, in similar fashion, among different faiths and orders. As I drove away I felt a deep sense of peace knowing that you are wrapped in the arms of an able Minister of the gospel of Jesus the Christ. Brother David is, in fact and in deed, a Shepherd of the flock of Christ's dear ONES. You could look far and wide and not find a man more experientially qualified to lead you into ever evolving hights of higher consciousness. His gift of Leadership by example and demonstration is without price.

     Also, as I drove away I continued to see great things coming down the pike for your congregation. Unparalled growth in grace and in knowledge of the God of you will redound to the attraction of a multitude of seekers for what you folks already enjoy. In the words of Paul to the Philippian Church (2:15-16), "...ye shine as lights in the world; Holding forth the word of life." You have the power, because you are the Power!
